Sorry, no presents for christmas from me this year, was too busy with university up till last week, and was busy with RL christmas preperations then, up till now
Though I think a good present is some good progress info on the Sonic flashmovie I started in mid-March this year (2008).
It's about 20 minutes long, thus even beating the Roger tribute flashmovie in lenght.
And no, the credits aren't even animated yet.
And it will probably still gain a bit more in size.
I'm actually pretty far with my original script now. Plus, I'm going to add yet some easy-to-do bonus scenes, outtakes if you like.
Jokes I can pull off with stuff I mostly already animated and such, thus, "easy-to-do".
Then I'm off to patch up the older scenes that need some more pimpin', and other relatively minor stuff.
If everything goes well, I'll be done in 2 months!
Nah, I'm kidding ya... ... I ... hope
Meh, from the last birthday movie I made in november, I figured that all I need is
a) to stay more focussed
b) to have more time to work a lot in one single go
c) to be in the right mood (which is often not the case when I stop working on university stuff at, say, 9pm to 10pm in the night, which, in the last weeks, happend quite a lot.)
d) to be more realistic about letting go off unnecessary stuff and details, otherwise things will take forever
to do a 1:30 minute movie in only 9 hours.
so ... I'm not gonna make any promises (especially since I also will have to do other homework during the holidays),
it could be done all of a sudden, or it could still take a while, I don't know.
Bbut I'm optimistic about a release date that isn't too far away into the distant future.
everything below this line is from the old journal, thought it was a bit too early to throw out the feature
so, no, "today" isn't my birthday anmore, that was on December 16th

IT'S NOT A BUG, IT'S A FEATURE!
Hah! Caught your attention with a seemingly pointless title.
And I'm going to blatantly use this opportunity to feature some artists
FOr example, this guy

featuring both Ultra and Juice, or Ultra and a very specially-flavoured semiluxury food respecitively.
Thanks again
And, when I'm on it, I thought I might feature someone else as well, I'm sure he'll be happy about a bunch of extra-pageviews
Short backstory: Eggman decided it was time to pass his evil genius on to the next generation, and so, Jonas "Egglad" Robotnik was born.
Though the contradiction of childhood innocence with having a evil mastermind father with a fierce dismay for a certain blue hedgehog often leads to some interesting results...
Take a look at some of his comics, you'll know what I mean

And, also, something I wanted to point out to the few people who watch my account, but DO NOT KNOW WHO THIS GUY IS:
( Yes, I know it's unbelievable, but it's true!
SERIOUSLY, if you like my flash and comics and stuff, GO CHECK OUT ROGER VAN DER WEIDE'S STUFF.
He was the guy who's own flashmovies inspired me to get into flash and drawing in the first place.
And my first flashmovie I ever finished is actually a over-13-minute-long tribute flash dedicated to that guy. With 6 to 8 months worth of effort.
You may notice a ... minor resemblence between this guy's drawing style and my own. Err.... complete coincidence. ...
Just go to his gallery and type in a search keyword... Sonic... Zelda... Star Fox... MegaMan... Harry Potter... Mario... Kingdom Hearts... Nights...
Plus, he's also doing collab flashs with AdoubleA
Most of them are on AdoubleA's account, though some of them were so awesome that dA got scared of their sheer awesomeness and removed them.
So, some of their movies are, for instance, on evilDoc's NG account instead. [link]
Errr, yeah. That being said, have fun.
Oh by the way, today (Dec. 16th) is my birthday.

Haven't actually finished many flashmovies, but the ones I do finish are gonna be huge?
On an unrelated note, isn't "Sonic Heroes" also available for PC...? You got that?
Well... Sonic Advance 2 was the first game she appeared in!
So she was the "random new character" addition there, that's how she got in.
